River Song House is a stylish waterfront 5 bedroom Hudson Valley cottage, with river views & gently sloping grounds down to a private deck/dock directly on the beautiful Esopus Creek.
The Space
Originally built in 1930, this renovated Hudson Valley vacation rental has a comfortable, warm, Zen-meets-Rock'n'Roll vibe. It's the perfect spot for family , friends getaways or a relaxing retreat.
5 bedrooms ( including King, Queen, Full & Twin beds ), 2 full bathrooms, spacious living room, dining area, plus a sunroom. work area, outdoor deck and waterfront 10 seater table, patio gathering spot and fire pit area!
Esopus Creek
River Song House sits upon the banks of the beautiful Esopus - a waterway that flows from the mountains directly into the Hudson River.
The Esopus Creek, originally known by the Native Americans in the area as 'Atkarkaton' or 'Atkankarten' (and by Dutch settlers as the 'Esopus Kill'), takes its name from the Esopus tribe of the Lenape, who were living around the lower Esopus when the Dutch first explored the Hudson Valley in the early 17th century.
Today we get to enjoy in the splendor of the creek on long summer nights, moonlight evenings and Fall & Winter days by the fire.
